Lighthouse Hotel Management are recruiting for the exciting role of Breakfast Chef at The Halyard, Rope Walks Liverpool.  Reporting into the Head Chef, you will be responsible for welcoming and ensuring our guests have an amazing experience. Ensuring that all brand standards are adhered to and that excellent standards of customer service are delivered at all times. 

Job Description:

As the Breakfast Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable moments for our guests through their dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Dining Experience: Working directly with the Head Chef, you will be part of a team of passionate individuals who put their heart and soul into every dish that they create. Your can-do attitude and pride in making each guests experience magical with every bite, creates an atmosphere where our guests can’t help but return for more.
• Collaboration: You will collaborate with various functions within the hotel, namely the food and beverage team, where your excellent team work and joint goal of obtaining maximum customer satisfaction will create a enchanted dining experience for each and every guest.
• Problem Solving: With a keen eye for detail and exceptional problem-solving skills, you'll handle guest requests, meal modifications, complaints, and challenging situations with grace and efficiency. Your resourcefulness will turn obstacles into opportunities to showcase our commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Kitchen Representation: Taking satisfaction in creating a clean, hygienic and compliant working environment you will actively lead by example to understand and implement all hotel procedures and standards. Supporting the team, you will give guidance regarding food handling, preparation and work stations ensuring compliance with all food and hygiene requirements.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Breakfast Chef.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Additional language proficiency is a bonus.
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest experience with an adaptable approach to any alteration requests in line with allergan requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A drive to work as part of a team to exceed expectations and promote the hotels brand and services. 
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as our hotel operates 24/7.
